Chris Allen didn’t want us to write anything here, he says it’s “all about the boat“, but we thought you’d like to know that:
Chris previously worked for Cookson’s Boats, NZ and was part of the team who built yachts such as Falcon2000, Bribon and many more.
When he returned to Ireland he was commissioned to build Corby 30 Velvet Glove, which turned out to be “astonishingly successful”.
He then went on to build Ker 32 Voodoo Chile, winner of her class in the 2004 Rolex Commodore’s Cup and overall winner of the 2004 BMW Around Ireland Race.
Chris has had many other successes in his career, but the Voodoo Moth is his true passion, and as he says, “the boat speaks for itself!“
